Before applying the composite material, our dentist will clean and prepare the outer surface of your teeth. An acidic gel is applied to the teeth to help the composite material stick firmly to the tooth enamel. The dentist then mixes the material and applies it to the tooth or teeth, skilfully shaping and sculpting for the desired look, before hardening it with a blue light. Once hardened, the composite is then polished and all that’s left to do is admire your new look in a mirror.
